Anubhav Anusha
Director of R&D and Quality Assurance
Mr. Anusha is a biotechnologist who specialises in genomics diagnostics.
He is a self-funded serial entrepreneur with a global vision to disruptively improve the accessibility of cutting-edge molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases.

In 2011, he pioneered personalised genomics testing in India and the middle-east. Mr. Anusha established the first personalised genomics diagnostic laboratories in India and the UAE that serviced over a 1000 clinics across India, GCC, and south-east Asia.
Mr. Anusha developed an AI powered personalised genomics eco-system that enabled its users to personalise their preventive health and wellness on the basis of their genetic make-up. Users were further given the ability to personalise their retail decisions based on their genomic data. At its peak, the eco-system had in excess of over 600,000 active clients globally.

In 2019, Mr. Anusha decided to work towards making molecular testing for infectious diseases in India more affordable. He established a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory in France with the sole objective of developing highly affordable RT-PCR based tests for infectious diseases. He subsequently established manufacturing facilities for RT-PCR IVD kits in France and India.​
During the COVID-19 pandemic, his key innovations included an RT-PCR IVD for COVID-19 that allowed its users to go directly from specimen to results in under 90 minutes. He further innovated on mobile Biosafety-Level 2 laboratories for COVID-19 testing (housed in 40ft shipping containers). He then went on to establish India's largest COVID-19 RT-PCR testing facility.
He has received multiple accolades including the Award for 'Best Indian Investment in France' by Business France.​

Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Mr. Anusha was an investment banker in New York City, where he specialised in mergers & acquisitions and capital raising for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. He has a collective deal experience of over USD 250 million for companies with a collective market capitalisation of over USD 1 billion.

Mr. Anusha graduated magna cum laude with a M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Georgetown University (Washington D.C), and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology SUNY Buffalo (Buffalo, New York).
